My backyard on a misty morning and the sun is just coming up. I loved this photo and decided to make a quilt using the photo as inspiration.

Love the way the shades of purple and green work here. The effect is definitely misty, and the little gold patches of sunlight really contribute to the mood: fresh, full of promise.
